Do I need to put my terminal in Bypass Mode?

Yes. To avoid structural network performance bugs like Double-NAT and SIP translation errors, we recommend putting your satellite terminal into Bypass (Bridge) Mode using your mobile app. This turns the satellite modem into a transparent bridge, allowing our hardware gateway to directly secure and route your public traffic.

Do I need the official satellite Ethernet Adapter?

If you are using a Generation 2 terminal (the rectangular dish without a built-in Ethernet port), yes. You will need to purchase the official $25 Ethernet Adapter from the manufacturer’s shop to connect our hardware gateway. If you are running the newer Gen 3 (V4) terminal, you can plug directly into the standard ports on the back.

Will this tunnel limit my download speed?

No. Your native internet connection determines your bandwidth. Our tunnel will have little, if any, impact on your upload/download speeds.
